Are we aware of what our children see on TV?

Today, as I sat listening to a level two boy reading, we read about how God only wants us to see and hear good things. I explained that this means we shouldn't listen to music with bad words or watch bad things on TV. I told him that if we did, we would probably also have bad dreams. Immediately he said " Oh, that happened to me when I watched Vampire Diaries, so I changed it to another channel!" I'm sure we have all had the same thing happen in our homes and unfortunately we can never erase those images. Just another reminder for us to make sure that we know what they're up to!
